An employer in Wisconsin has filed a class-action lawsuit against Advocate Aurora Health, alleging the hospital system has used its market muscle to gouge companies that pay for their workers’ health care.
The lawsuit comes just two weeks after Advocate Aurora, based in Illinois and Wisconsin, proposed a merger with Atrium Health, a move that will invite even more antitrust scrutiny.
